AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL | COMMISSIONED MURALS | C VENUES | EDINBUGH FRINGE FESTIVAL | 2010
On the 7th of August 2010, a group of Recoat artists came together to create a collaborative mural at the C Venues during the Edinburgh Festival. AI then transported it to London and displayed it in their head offices.
We were commissioned by Amnesty International to paint the piece, which depicts themes surrounding the 88 Generation Students of Burma. The artists also each created paintings that explore and illustrate freedom of speech and specific AI cases. These paintings were also on show at the C Venues.
