Amnesty International Live Paint

Amnesty International invited us to bring together a collective of six Scottish artists to participate in a project during the Edinburgh Festival.
Each of the artists have created a large scale artwork that will be on show at the C Venues from the 31st of July to 30th August that explore and illustrate themes surrounding freedom of speech and specific AI cases. Then on the 7th August the artists will paint a collaborative mural inspired by the struggle of the 88 Generation Student Group, who were locked up in 2007 for up to 65 years for protesting peacefully against the Burmese government. Artists participating are Lyken, Derm, Conzo, Elph, Rekor and Syrkus. Think it will be qulaity evening and is FREE! See you there.

3rd Birthday Party!

The Fool’s Gold Tour and Exhibition just took place, where we took, Inkie and Insa across Europe in one week, painting vast murals in London, Brussels, and Berlin and then exhibited a collaborative show in Warsaw. As you all know!

The 30th of July, is our 3rd birthday and to celebrate we've invited artists from each of the countries we visited on the tour to exhibit in an international group show. The exhibition will encompass work from illustrators, graffiti, street and graphic artists from Poland, Belgium, Germany and England. A selection of these artists, including Inkie and Insa will paint a large mural in the archway that flanks the gallery and the documentary film shot on the tour will be premiered.

Artists exhibiting include Inkie, Insa, Pener, 1010, Veuch, Chazme (artwork above), Sepe (artwork above), and Swanksi.

So exciting, just can't wait!

London Paint Movie

1st London Paint for Fool's Gold from Recoat on Vimeo.

Okay Insa got crazy busy in London and created two works before we left. Here is the first, the second will be up when we can catch our breath.
We left London this morning at 3am, shuttle to Calais, drove to Brussels, painted there, drove via Holland to Hannover where we can sleep at last! That's 5 countries in one day and 20 hours on the road. What a tour. Painting today rocked, wait till you see!

London Paint

Sadly Inkie has been a bit under the weather so didn't make it for the paint today. But Insa created a-ma-zing work today. Londoners get searching! Here is a wee photo clue. We'll be loading up more pics and movies as we go. www.foolsgoldtour.com
