We opened our Christmas show last Friday, was great, thanks to everyone that made it down. Show now runs till the 23rd December.

Nearly loaded up all our photos onto Flickr and same with the online store, give me till end of tomorrow to have it all up, there is so much work, taking ages!

We were invited to go draw at the Scottish Secret Wars selection event last Friday. Ali aka REKOR got selected, delighted! The team is Elph, Conzo, Estum, Vues and Smug, congrats guys.

Cheers to Conzo for the invite and organising the whole thing was alot of fun.

Annual Christmas Bargain Blowout Exhibition





Yo yo yo!


This Friday we are opening 'Recession Session', a bargain bustin' show with over 30 artists from all over the globe. Each wall is going to be marked with a set price and all artwork will be set at that one low price. The categories will be- £25, £50, £75, and £100.

As ever at Recoat the emphasis is on high quality artwork that is well finished. The show will be exciting, a collection of work from Scottish and international artists of original pieces including sculptures, paintings and drawings, and limited edition prints.

Launch is on 20th November 7-10pm, get there early to avoid disapointment.If you can't make that it runs till the 23rd December open Tuesday to Sunday 12-6pm. From the 21st November you can buy the pieces online here- http://recoat.bigcartel.com/

DIG collective opens show at Che Camille


Our pals, furniture design collective, DIG are opening an exhibition of their work tomorrow at Che Camille. Opens Friday 6th Nov 6.30-10pm then runs till Sunday 6th Dec.

You need to get in by the side entrance in Sloan's lane, but Che Camille is at Floor 6 Argyll Chambers, 34 Buchanan Street, Glasgow, G2 8bd.

Lost and Found Structures opens tonight!




Gregor has been very busy, tonight we open his first solo exhibition at Recoat. we're showing 35 original drawings plus two screen prints (which you can get at discounted price when you buy the book), and we're launching his first book, which is a collection of these drawings. Not only that, he has painted us a big mural over the past couple of days. Its a great show, and it opens tonight, 7-10pm. Its sponsored by the Lansdowne and supported by Red Bull so plenty of drinks to get the evening off to a good start. You'll also get the chance to win a signed copy of the book.

If you can't make it don't panic, it runs till the 13th November or if you can't make it at all, all pieces not sold tonight will be in our online shop on Saturday here.

Lost and Found Structures


Next exhibition opens on 23rd Oct. We're doing our first ever book launch. Wee solo show from Gregor Louden, the illustrations from the book on display with his limited first edition availible for sale and a chance to win a signed copy on the launch night. Yowsa.

Mike Inglis


Got an invite to head along to Mike Inglis latest exhibition, its at the Arches, opens this Thursday 6pm-8pm, then it runs till the 3rd of November. Mike showed with Kirsty and Elph and the rest of the gang at Rough Cut Nation, sure this show will be worth a look see...

Haunted Graffiti Opens





Woohoo, finally loaded up all the pics from our mega exhibition from Lyken Love and Elph One, what a beauty! Go to our Flickr to see all the artwork plus photos of the opening and massive mural they painted in the space. As ever, a pleasure to work with these two loons.

Rough Cut Nation Auction

Just a wee heads up, recently posted about the Rough Cut Nation exhibition at the Portrait Gallery in Edinburgh.

This is the last week to see the street-art takeover. On the last day they're going to cut down sections, large and small and they'll go to the highest bidder. Could be £2 - £2000, who knows....

There are pieces by some of the leading artists in Scotland so deffinately worth getting there, it'll be your chance to win a large bargainous painting, and a historical object.
