Monkey Relic Opens





On Friday we opened a new exhibition of Kirsty Whiten's work through in Edinburgh at Pageant. Was a belter, check out the work and the photos of the opening here. Wouldn't miss it, it runs till the 27th June open 11-6pm Monday to Saturday.

Auction






Last Thursday we auctioned off the work we did for Red Bull for Hinterland last month, was alot of fun and our pal, Lala, did an amazing job of auctioneering for us. We raised some serious cash for Wings for Life, so we're delighted!

Monkey Relic



We're lucky enough to be working with two of our favourite collabers again, Pageant, super cool fashion store, and Kirsty Whiten, super cool contemporary artist. We're helping Kirsty do an exhibition at Pageant, its called Monkey Relic, as ever shes made some wierd and amazing drawings, but is also doing an experimental paste up too. You gotta make it, starts at 7pm.

REKOR + SYRKUS Charity Art Auction




Busy week acoming. Red Bull asked us to create artwork for the Hinterland festival last month, we made 13 massive canvasses that went into all the venues. Now we're going to auction them off and 50% of all profits will go to Wings for Life, a spinal cord research charity. The event is at the GRV in Edinburgh next Thursday. Should be fun night, fire down, even just to watch the festivities, but you might just score yourself a bonus piece of art too. Drinks reception at 7pm, auction starts at 8pm. Crystal is the New Wolf opens




On Friday we opened Crystal is the New Wolf, a brand new exhibition from Will Barras and Ruefive. They painted a beauty of a mural and put together a lovely show of prints, paintings, drawings and embroideries. The opening was good and busy but wet as mince, steamy windows.... Come down and check out the work, it runs till the 6th of June. You can see the work and photos from the opening here.

Crystal is the New Wolf opens tomorrow!



Squeezing quick BLOG in, hectic getting Crystal is the New Wolf together. Will Barras came up Tuesday, him and and Rue Five have painted a beauty of a mural in the space and we're hanging their work right now. Will has made a collection of watercolours, woodcuts and etchings, and Rue Five has been scribbling away on his ever improving, intricate drawings and paintings, using antique pencils and found and collected beautiful old paper.

Opens Friday 15th May, 7-10pm. The show then runs till the 6th of June open Tues to Sun 12-6pm.

Recoat X Red Bull X Hinterland





Red Bull commissioned us to create 1 mural and 13 canvasses for all the venues at the Hinterland Music Festival last weekend. It was alot of painting hours but we did it. Had to be on music theme so we went for a 'one man band' vibe. If you want to check out the mural its at Pivo Pivo in Glasgow city centre. There are more photos here.

DERM and Matt Swan at Pageant


Popped into Pageant on a wee trip to the East last week, they have a brilliant mural by Matt Swan up and DERM's opening a brand new exhibition there on the 1st of May, 7pm. Hopefully we can make it through for a squiz.

Secret Wars




Sorry, meant to put this up ages ago. On the night Xynthetic's Northern Exposure show opened Amy got invited to go Judge at Secret Wars, held at the ArtSchool. Was quality event, the boys done good.If you get a chance to go to their next one totally recommend it.

Hinterland

We've just been commissioned to create artwork for a brand new festival, Hinterland that all kicks off next Thursday. You can check out their website here for all the acts, venues, dates and so on and you can read their chat about us and what we're doing here. Shaping up to be a cool event, deffinately worth grabbing some tickets.

Satellite 3



Last week we opened another wee satellite exhibition at Urban Outfitters in town. Looks sweet. Check out the photos and work here.

Northern Exposure opens





Northern Exposure opened last Friday, deffinately one of our best yet, the Xynthetic boys have been working hard. So much amazing work, plus goodie bag giveaway, toys, DVD to goggle at and tees from Klingatron. Don't miss it, runs till 10th May.
