Road Trippin

On Monday we left Glasgow to travel the country dropping off the big pieces from ELPH's show to their new lucky owners. We went to London town, visited INSA on Monday, ate meat with meat and visited Stolenspace on Tuesday, then cruised on down to Cornwall and all the way back to bonny Scotland on Wednesday. We travelled a cool 1300 miles.

Russell Dempster opens...

We opened our latest exhibition, Bizarre Brood, a solo exhibition from Russell Dempster last Friday. It was lovely and busy, everyone enjoying the bar sponsored by The Flying Duck, our new well stocked fridge sent over in support from Red Bull, and all the beautiful pencils sent up by Derwent.

The work is amazing, everything we had hoped for from graphite obsessed Dempster. You can see all the photos and pieces at:

The show will be open till Wednesday 28th May from Tuesday to Sunday 12pm- 6pm.

Last week we went on a wee mission down to Newcastle to check out the Barry McGee exhibition at the Baltic. Was fantastic show, highly recommend it.

Derwent are sponsoring the show with some of their new range of pencils so everyone who attends the show will recieve a fancy pencil and the first ten people through the door will win a whole box of them!

Russell Dempster- Bizarre Brood

We open a new show on the 25th April 2008 between 7 and 10pm, a solo exhibition of Russell Dempster's work called The Bizarre Brood.

For those that don't know Russell and his work, he graduated in 2004 and has since taken part in 7 exhibitions in both Edinburgh and Glasgow. He draws hyper-real, distorted pencil drawings, and will be showing eight new ones at this show, all linked through their comments on human behaviour and relationships.
