HEART: HEALTH EDUCTION ART MURAL PROJECT | COMMUNITY MURALS | GLASGOW | 2014
In March 2014, we partnered with Heart: Health Education Art to create a series of murals in the north of Glasgow that aimed to encourage healthy living. Heart is a charity organisation founded by Colin Primrose, a junior doctor. He founded Heart in the hope of changing Glasgow's poor health statistics through art. We ran workshops with local community groups to collect themes and ideas for the murals. The artists worked from these drawings to create murals in the local community.
Elph and Jamie Johnson painted at St. Stephen's Primary School, and David Galletly and Marco Galloway painted in the community garden of Royston Youth Action.
